Trike! Primeval Earth Allosaurus and Allosaurus Prime
The Prime Pass skin sits on this base. Buy the body before the pass icon.
Allosaurus is the mid-tier hunter on the Trike! Primeval Earth roster. It sits below the apex conversation in Fossil cost, above the small-hunter tier in presence, and it is the body that Allosaurus Prime wears when you buy Prime Pass and click the Allosaurus row.
This page stays qualitative. No fake DPS. Role letters sit on the carnivore list: A for solo PvP because the kit is capable in the right hands, A for pack because hunters stack, B for beginner survival because the cost is not entry-level, A for Fossil efficiency if you want a second carnivore that is not the king. Roster context sits on the dinosaur hub.
Base, Prime skin, and the pass trap
Unlock the Allosaurus base with Fossils. Prime Pass then adds Allosaurus Prime as a skin on that base, next to TyrannosaurusRex and Spinosaurus Prime. The Prime icon will not spawn an Allosaurus if you do not own the body. That is the same pass rule repeated across every apex and mid-tier on this wiki.
Chaos Pass is not an Allosaurus pack. Chaos Pass is ChaosGiganotosaurus, Mutyrant, and Agilipterus.
If a shop row glows during the 4th anniversary or a limited sale, read whether it is the base, a Prime look, or an unrelated monster.
How Allosaurus actually plays
Size and bite reach are the kit. Allosaurus is not the island king but it is not a lightweight either. It holds the mid-tier conversation because it can actually contest most things that are not grown apexes.
Against larger carnivores:
- Do not contest a clearing against Tyrannosaurus. The matchup is not favorable.
- Against Spinosaurus, use land mobility. The water door does not help Allosaurus.
- Against pack hunters such as Dilophosaurus, you win if you commit. Numbers beat size only when the numbers coordinate.
Against herbivores:
- Hadrosaurs are the preferred target. Parasaurolophus is manageable.
- Triceratops can hold against you. Do not assume the horns are cosmetic.
- Pachycephalosaurus headbutts punish overcommit. Take clean bites.
Growth: babies die to most things. Grow in Red Wood or Pines using the growth planner.
Pack play
Mid hunters stack. Allosaurus groups work when the pack uses coordination instead of pile logic. A group of three adult Allosaurus that can actually talk is a problem for most things that are not a coordinated apex pack.
Fossils and when Allosaurus is the right spend
Redeem codes first. Buy Allosaurus when you want a second carnivore that is capable on land without the apex visibility tax. Buy Allosaurus Prime only after the base exists.
Premium 1.2× Fossils and VIP 1.5× Fossils / 1.2× growth speed the grind. They do not make the baby stage safer.
Map notes:
- Aquatic Expansion (June 2026) added water Allosaurus should not enter.
- Flying Expansion (July 2026) added sky Allosaurus cannot reach.
- Anniversary cakes sit on land. Allosaurus is fast to the pile and fast away.
The Asteroth Mission is scheduled for 25 September 2026. Allosaurus is a sane mid-tier pick for land-based events.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Does Prime Pass give me Allosaurus?
Prime Pass gives the Allosaurus Prime skin. You still need the Allosaurus base dinosaur to wear it.
Is Allosaurus good for beginners?
B for beginner survival on the carnivore list. The cost is not entry-level. Dilophosaurus or a herbivore is a better first unlock.
Can Allosaurus beat Tyrannosaurus?
Not in a fair adult duel. Allosaurus is a mid-tier, not an apex. Use the kit to hold mid-tier matchups, not to challenge the king.
What is Allosaurus best at?
Capable mid-tier land presence, pack coordination, and holding the conversation between small hunters and apex bodies.
